President
Clinton Yearns for Baseball
From August, 1994 to April, 1995, the Major League
baseball players went on strike. This strike was the
first strike since 1904, which was the only time in
history that the World Series was cancelled. President
Bill Clinton signed this ball and wrote "My wish:
America's children can see baseball again! — Bill
Clinton, 2-95." This ball is also signed by Al
Gore.
