On September 12, 1976, at the age of 53, Minnie Minoso, who had retired in 1964, made a comeback with his old team, the Chicago White Sox. That night, he became the oldest man ever to get a hit in major league baseball when he singled off Sid Monge. He wore this jersey when he got that hit.
