Bob Feller's Father's Glove
This glove was used by pitching great Bob Feller's
father when they played catch when Feller was
a child. Feller, one of the fastest pitchers in
the history of baseball, was a phenom by the time
he was 11. One day, he threw a pitch so hard that
it broke three of his father’s ribs! Time
Magazine wrote about the incident after Feller
began his stellar major league career, in 1937,
at the age of 17.
