Ray Chapman’s Bat

Pictured is one of only two known Ray Chapman game-used bats. Chapman was the Cleveland Indians shortstop, who was tragically hit and killed by a pitch on August 16, 1920. He was a leader for the Indians during his 8-year career (1912-1920) hitting over .300 four times.
